The contrast between the actions of Biden and Trump cannot be greater. Biden continues to show leadership for the country while Trump continues to act only for himself. In order to save the Senate, the Republican leadership may be looking for a way to muzzle Trump without alienating his supporters.
Trump fights the election returns (1) to keep himself in the news Nd (2) he's a sore looser and (3) he's collecting lots of money which people believe he will use it to fight election fraud whereas he will pocket most of it (legally) and (4) to let possibly straying Republicans that they will be in deep dodo if they quit his cult.
