Trump - Week 2

Thursday, February 2, 2017, 10am to 11:30 in the Meeting Room (behind the fireplace)

I don't know what the second week of Trump will bring. In just the first week, he upset women rights groups, the mainstream media, environmentalists, supporters of sanctuary cities and the governments of China and Mexico. His Supreme Court nominee will not be revealed until the third week. So we will just have to see what he has in store this upcoming week. I can't wait.

    Here is the newsletter that Dave referred to in our meeting. It says that Trump's transition team knows what they are doing: What I Learned in Washington DC.

    That letter almost made me a Trump supporter but why is he so crude and earthy in his speech, using so many superlatives and so few facts? To garner the support of the common man? And can we believe him or not?

    From a friend: Next Tuesday, former VEEP Joe Biden will be on Late Show with Stephen Colbert
    I don't know if that is this Tuesday or a week from Tuesday.

    Is it better to refer to him as Mr. Trump or the President? Is one more polite?

      I have called all of the presidents by their last name, just like many do. There is no implied disrespect.

The easiest way to comment
