Midterm Election Approaches

Thursday, August 2, 2018, 10am to 11:30 in the Meeting Room (behind the fireplace)

We are less than 100 days to the midterm election and Trump is doing everything to keep the focus on him. For the next meeting, we will look at a collection of issues that may decide the outcome. I will bring some videos, but first I want to hear from you on what issues will be important in the upcoming election.

Trump and Putin Continues

Thursday, July 26, 2018, 10am to 11:30 in the Meeting Room (behind the fireplace)

We will pick up where we left off last week, with the nations disapproval of the love affair between Trump and Putin. Last week Trump took back his siding with Putin over Russia's interference with the 2016 election. But now Trump is behaving as if his take back never happened.

Trump and Putin

Not surprisingly, the topic for next week will be the Trump-Putin meeting in Helsinki. Has Trump finally gone too far, or will his base continue to support him. Because This is still a developing story, I will hold off selecting the videos for the meeting until tomorrow.

Hawaii Volcano Update

While in Hawaii, I did not pay attention to the news at all. I just arrived home and I am too tired to catch-up with the news. So for the next meeting, I will provide an update on the Kilauea eruption which has fallen out of the mainstream media but has important developments. If we have time, you can tell me what I missed in the news.
