Not surprisingly, the topic for next week will be the Trump-Putin meeting in Helsinki. Has Trump finally gone too far, or will his base continue to support him. Because This is still a developing story, I will hold off selecting the videos for the meeting until tomorrow.

It's just possible that what's behind Trump's courting of the Russians is nothing more sophisticated than that Putin's cronies are Trump's biggest and most reliable creditors. Therefore, they have common cause.
